Drama > Drama Conventions > Analogy
An Analogy is a way of explaing something by comparing it to someting else. (A bit like a metaphor or simile) In drama it is sometimes very useful to use a drama about one situation (for example "bullies in a playground") to explore another situation that has some similarities (e.g. "Countries going to war").
“I would just like to say your children are an absolute credit to you,
themselves and their parents. I don’t know what you are doing at that school
but you are doing something right.”
