Ceremonies are special events designed to commemorate or celebrate something important to a group of people. Creating ceremonies can be a good way to examine and explore a subject within a drama. Also ceremonies, like weddings, funerals, birthdays and so on, are very good subjects for drama as they alloe you to explore a community looking backwards and forwards in time. Ceremonies are sometimes closely linked to rituals.
