examsTrinity C of E High School is committed to the achievement and success of all our pupils and this includes the most able.

In 2010, 18% of all pupils were awarded A*/A grades, with 11% achieving 7 or more A*/A grades.

Able pupils are continually challenged in lessons, encouraged to develop higher order thinking skills and be involved in extra curriculur opportunities. There are many talented pupils at Trinity, and these pupils are able to participate in events which showcase and nurture their talents. From various sporting clubs and competitions, to dance recitals, musical performances, school plays, house competitions (spelling bee/countdown) and a Trinity Talent Show!

Gifted and Talented pupils are closely monitored to enable positive mentoring. This ensures that the pupils are focused, knowing that they can achieve and that they are being given the resources and support to reach their potential. As well as encouraging outstanding academic success, able pupils are given the opportunities to develop skills which will prepare them for further education and future careers.
