Courses

For Key stage 3 – Key stage 3 ICT is taught through Enquiry Skills, please see this section of the website for more details.

At key stage 4 we offer two courses, which are 100% coursework

AIDA- Award in digital applications. Students study one unit over the two years (using ICT). They will lean how to use databases, spreadsheets, multimedia and web design software.
CIDA- Certificate in digital applications. Students study two units over two years, using ICT (as above) and multimedia.

Additional information

Both AIDA and CIDA are on-line courses, using both our virtual learning environment and the Edexcel website.

Homework

Students are expected to spend approximately 1 hour (AIDA) and 2 hours (CIDA) a week completing their coursework outside of the lesson.
