The Merit System

Students are awarded merits for producing good work and for participating in activities within school. There are two types of Merits students can be awarded:

Achievement Merits – these will be awarded for good work in lessons and homework in the usual way. Merits will be awarded by with a proper stamp or sticker which is then initialled with the teachers code in your student planners. Students must ensure that this is done correctly as only genuine merits will be counted.

Citizenship Merits – these will be awarded by the adult supervising the activity either by forwarding a list of names to Mr Saunders or you may be given a 'citizenship cheque' which can be redeemed at the Trinity Trading shop (cheques will not count towards totals unless used at the shop).
