For the boring – but necessary bits to get a good grade:

  • Make sets of revision notes
  • Practice past papers in timed conditions – boring but ESSENTIAL
  • Read and re-read the poems/novel and keep making notes
  • Read lots of adverts and newspaper articles – think about – or even write your own questions on:
    • Presentation
    • Language
    • How an argument has been constructed

For when you want something more visual – and even a laugh!

  1. GOOGLE – just type in a poem or novel or even style of writing and see what comes up! Just beware – some is rubbish!

  1. YOU TUBE – type in a poem and be surprised at what you might find – makes revision more interesting – but beware – some of this is also rubbish!
