Admission Appeals 2019

Trinity Church of England High School is part of the Manchester Local Authority Coordinated Admissions Scheme. This means that Manchester Local Authority coordinates all applications for admissions to Trinity Church of England High School.

The following document provides a clear outline of the Admissions Appeals process.

If you wish to make an admission appeal please complete the online appeal form, or download the appeal form, at the Manchester LA Admissions website detailed below. If you have not previously submitted a Trinity Supplementary Application Form (see link below) to the school, you must do so at the same time as making your appeal.

Timetable for secondary school admission appeals (September 2019 entry)

 

Date Event
1st March 2019 National Secondary Offer Date

Offer letters sent to parents who applied on time using Royal Mail by 2nd class post, and by email when parent has applied online and requested notification by email. 1st March 2019 counts as school day one in the timeline.

29th March 2019 Deadline for parents to lodge an appeal. At least 20 school days from the date of notification that their application was unsuccessful to prepare and lodge their written appeal.
6th – 22nd April 2019 EASTER HOLIDAYS
Middle of June 2019 40 schools days from deadline for the lodging appeal and last day by which ‘on time’ appeals must be heard
