Louis Parker

A very hardworking and ambitious Sixth Form student.
As Headteacher, I have been very impressed with the drive and ambition of one of our Sixth Formers, Louis Parker (Year 13), who set up a business, ‘Apex Asset Management’, a proprietary investment firm, just over a year ago. Louis has ambitions to become a city trader and his studies in Economics and History in the Sixth Form, compiled with his own research and practice, led him to submit a proposal to a senior Hedge Fund Manager, looking for a £2,500,000 investment.
As an 18 year old, Louis (pictured below) knew that this was a very ambitious request. His contact in London wrote: “I hugely admire his enthusiasm and planning” and noted that Louis should concentrate on playing the long game – going to university and/or seeking a job in the financial services in order to gain credible experience. When this is in place, the Fund Manager added: “With his entrepreneurial spirit, it would not take him long before he saw the opening to start a business.”
Louis is talented, hardworking and ambitious – we wish him and his business well in the future.
